What to Pray“Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for coming to earth, living an unblemished life, and dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive you as Savior and Lord of everything I do. Make me the kind of person you want me to be.”

What to DoGo to God in prayer daily. Read God’s word daily. Open your life to other Christian friends.

There will be no Women’s Bible Study Monday, December 29th or January 5th. The study will resume on Monday, January 12th.

Church of the Straits is planning a baby shower for Kate & Peter Walugembe!! The shower will be Sunday, January 11th, 2:00 pm at the church. Kate is expecting a sweet little girl February 1st. Anyone wishing to help, please contact Judy in the church office – 436-8682.

Spaghetti Dinner to benefit VBS, Saturday, January 31st, 5:00 pm. Cost of the dinner by donation. Needed are the following items:

A very special ‘thank you’ to Andrea Sarto for filling the pulpit today so Pastor Dave could celebrate Christmas with all his kids!

The Annnual Congregational Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 25th immediately following worship. Rev. Elbert Dulworth, the Marquette District Superintendent will moderate. SARM will be serving a Baked Potato Lunch following the meeting. Cost of lunch is by donation.
