PLAGUE #8 - LOCUSTS Pharaoh was warned the

LORD would bring locusts into Egypt.

Locusts are insects that are a type of grasshopper.

They would eat the rest of the plants that were not destroyed by hail.

Pharaoh offered to let the men go and worship the LORD.

Pharaoh hurriedly asked them to pray to the LORD.

PLAGUE #9 - DARKNESS OVER THE LAND The LORD made darkness

fall over the land of Egypt

This darkness could be felt.

There was light with all the sons of Israel.

Pharaoh also warned Moses not to see his face again; if Moses did he would die.

Moses told Pharaoh, “You shall never see my face again!”

THE PASSOVER LAMB On 10 Nisan each family

should take a lamb.

The lamb was to be an unblemished male a year old.

The lamb’s blood would be painted on the two doorposts and on the lintel.

Eat it with matzah or unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

THE PEOPLE BELIEVED AND OBEYED They killed the lamb,

applied the blood and ate the Passover meal.
