Wire MeshWire Diameters/Special Treatments and Services

Gerard Daniel Worldwide ServicesGerard Daniel Worldwide offers a variety of services to help its customers gain competitive advantages, or simply to aid in the manufacturing processes. These services include special treatment processes, value added fabrication, and customer intimacy programs.

Special TreatmentsCalenderingThickness can be precisely controlled after weaving by calendering mesh. Mesh crimps are flattened to create a smooth surface.

CleaningWire cloth can be cleaned to remove oils, dirt, or debris.

CoatingsCoatings can be applied to wire before weaving or applied to wire cloth after weaving. Common coatings include nickel, copper, zinc, or tin.

ColdBond™Wire cloth can be metallurgically bonded so that the wires are welded at their crossover points. This fusing enhances mesh rigidity, improves conductivity, and eliminates wire fraying.

Heat TreatingMesh can be stress relieved, annealed, or sintered to alter the mechanical properties of material. Heat treatments can improve elongation, softness, or formability of material.

Surface EtchingThe surface of the wire can be roughened to improve adhesion properties.

Value Added ServicesMesh LaminationMultiple layers of mesh can be laminated together for your specific needs.

Piece CuttingPieces can be supplied in any width or length.

Stamping or FormingMesh can be stamped or formed to fit your shape requirements.
