Wellspring is a large and diverse Multi-Academy Trust currently comprised of 25 Primary, Secondary, Special and Alternative Academies across Yorkshire and Greater Lincolnshire. Our Academies are vibrant, autonomous, community focused and highly successful. Main duties will include: Responsible for the design and delivery of our

marketing strategy in line with Wellspring’s Five- Year Strategic Plan, ensuring values and beliefs are embedded throughout.

Design, develop and implement annual marketing engagement plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Provide innovative recommendations for the continual development of marketing strategies.

Act as an ambassador for Wellspring. Forge and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders through own activity.

Align all marketing and engagement activity to share information, optimise opportunities and increase the Trust profile.

Play an active role in developing a powerful narrative about how Wellspring ‘Makes A Difference’, using a story-telling approach where appropriate.

Support efficient and proactive relationships with all Wellspring departments in the creation of marketing plans, partnerships, business and research.

Establish a standardised framework of briefings, campaign management and analysis.

Establish effective, multi-dimensional mechanisms to evaluate the impact of the strategy and prepare an annual marketing report to facilitate strategic decision making by management.

Work in collaboration with the administration team to proactively achieve priorities. Work flexibly, performing any other duties as required, where relevant and appropriate to the post.

Key Responsibility – Support Wellspring’s Engagement Strategy

Raise the profile of the Trust based on its values and beliefs to connect with like-minded organisations and professionals.

Deliver high quality marketing collateral, managing the process from brief through to design, production and engagement.

Manage all elements of the Wellspring brand ensuring it reflects the culture of the Trust. Oversee the creation of resources: online presence, brand templates, toolkits and oversee major production (e.g. video, photography).

Lead the development of multi-media information campaigns on priority themes. Support the development of the Trust’s digital profile across websites, social media and email marketing.

Key Responsibility – Wellspring’s Commercial Offer Provide relevant marketing intelligence, including

sector activity to enable effective portfolio development, brand development, entry criteria, pricing strategy and benchmarking in support of commercial offers.

Design, develop, implement and maintain systems and processes for collection and analysis, supporting effective responses, service quality and customer satisfaction.

Support and service the product development process. Attend and contribute to product development meetings.

Generate interest and engagement from external stakeholders through targeted marketing to generate sales and new clients.

Update databases and use a customer relationship management (CRM) system. Manage prospects sales flow into our CRM and keep all data accurate and up to date.

Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibility – Community Engagement Provide dedicated support to Academies to support

their marketing and communications plans to engage with their communities.

Implement targeted marketing campaigns alongside Academies to attract new students in main years of entry and existing year groups.

Provide high quality professional advice and expertise to help achieve priorities.
