To go to Wentworth College, you don’t have to wear a uniform,
but you will get uniform quality,
and an education that stresses values,
as well as offering great value for your tuition dollar.
You will get the same exceptional faculty
who teach at our respected Military College,
who know how to get the best out of every student
and boost self-confidence at the same time.
And the best part is, Wentworth is surprisingly flexible,
with day and evening classes,
and an option to take as few as 3 hours per semester, in any of
four convenient locations—not to mention online.
So you’ll end up with a degree that commands attention,
in ways that will put you at ease.

The faculty
At Wentworth, we’re used to helping students get the most out of their classroom experience. Like
our Military College, which has a well-earned reputation for building the kind of academic capability
and study habits that lead to success at 4-year colleges and universities – and in life.
Yet, if you’re expecting our instructors to be drill sergeants, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Compassion is as fundamental to the Wentworth way as perseverance. As a private college, our
classes are small –with 15 or fewer students in most – so our knowledgeable teachers will know
you by name. And when needed, making time for one-on-one tutoring to explain difficult concepts
is just part of our culture.
The work may be challenging, but the results are extraordinary, and many of our graduates who
choose to continue their education go on to attend a 4-year college or university of their choice.
The flexibility
Not everyone has 40 hours a week for college. Which is why you can take as few as 3 hours, or
as many as 18, per semester. You can choose 8- or 16-week classes in fall and spring, or 10 week
classes during the summer.
Classes are offered in any of four convenient locations – Wentworth’s Main Campus in
Lexington, and in Cameron, Lamar, and Hermitage, Missouri. In fact, if you’re really busy,
you don’t have to attend classes at all—Wentworth Online allows students to earn college
credits in core subjects via the Internet, anywhere at any time.

The Affordability
Everyone knows the thousands of dollars a college education can cost. But at Wentworth, you get
the same academic support and personal attention you would at a private institution for the cost
of a public community college. And because Wentworth has an excellent track record of preparing
students for success at 4-year colleges and universities, many students go on to complete their
degrees after earning a 2-year Associate’s degree from Wentworth – and in the process save
themselves thousands.
Need financial aid? We’ll work with you to make it affordable. Our experienced and caring staff
extends beyond just classroom instructors. The Wentworth Financial Aid Office is happy to assist
students and their families in planning for the cost of tuition, and administers Wentworth College
awards, federal and state grants, scholarships and loans.
The Transferability
Wentworth focuses on transferable credits and provides a fully transferable Associate’s Degree.
Every year, we send dozens of students to 4-year schools of every kind, so we’re well-versed
in the requirements of each – even tailoring variations in our courses to fit the requirements of
4-year universities chosen by our students.
Wentworth is regularly evaluated by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central
Association of Colleges and Schools, and accepts transfer credits from all accredited colleges
and universities.

The Tradition
Since 1880, Wentworth has produced leaders in every field. Generals. Captains of industry.
Successful entrepreneurs. The hallmark of the Wentworth experience is a dedicated focus on
helping students reach their full potential.
Wentworth has built a culture of success. You’ll rub elbows with students enrolled in the Air Force
Falcon Program, all of whom will attend the Air Force Academy after graduation. There are senior
ROTC cadets, who will be commissioned as Army officers. And Wentworth College students who
don’t go on to military careers are hardly less driven—with nearly all who choose to seek a four-
year degree going on to a college or university of their choice.
A World of Difference
Wentworth has made its name as a military school. But the atmosphere isn’t at all what many
students expect.
For one thing, it’s diverse. The Wentworth main campus attracts students from 37 states and
over 15 foreign countries.
But most important, it’s family. Our system isn’t just geared towards academics, but to
assure students’ physical, moral and spiritual growth. Our teachers care for students
personally—and take personal pride in their successes. And we hope to create a culture
in which students support each other, too.
