5. BUILDING MODULE IDENTIFICATION
THE MANUFACTURER OR BUILDER SHALL PLACE TWO PERMANENT METAL IDENTIFICATION LABELS ON EACH BUILDING MODULE, ONE MECHANICALLY FASTENED AND VISIBLEFROM THE EXTERIOR AND THE OTHER MECHANICALLY FASTENED TO THE INTERIOR FRAME ABOVE THE CEILING, AT THE END OF THE MODULE.
THE LABELS SHALL SHOW THE DSA APLICATION NUMBER AND CBC EDTITION UNDER WHICH THE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION WAS AUTHORIZED, THE MANUFACTURER ORBUILDER'S NAME, THE SERIAL NUMBER, THE DESIGN CLIMATE ZONES (PER TITLE 24, PART 6, SECTION 143(a)8), THE DESIGN LIVE LOADS FOR THE ROOF AND FLOOR FRAMING,THE DESIGN WIND SPEED AND EXPOSURE CATEGORY, AND SEISMIC DESIGN PARAMETER Ss. THE LOCATION OF THE IDENTIFICATION LABELS SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE BUILDINGPLANS.
FOR BUILDINGS THAT ARE MANUFACTURED IN-PLANT, THE IN-PLANT INSPECTOR IS TO ATTACH A VERIFIED REPORT INSIDE EACH BUILDING, WHICH SHALL INDICATE THEMANUFACTURER'S NAME AND THE SERIAL NUMBER FOR EACH BUILDING MODULE AS WELL AS THE DSA FILE AND APPLICATION NUMBERS.
6. EXISTING TREES
EXISTING TREES ARE TO BE PROTECTED IN PLACE. PROVIDE 8'-0" DIAMETER OPENING (TREEWELL) IN THE ASPHALT PAVING. COORDINATE EXACT SIZE AND LOCATIONOF TREE WELL WITH OWNER. CARE TO BE TAKEN TO NOT DAMAGE TREE ROOTS.
7. CHAINLINK GATEPROVIDE 4' WIDE X 6' HIGH CHAIN LINK GATE WITH A PAD LOCK. GATE PROVIDES ACCESS TO ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE RELOCATABLE BUILDING.NO STUDENT ACTIVITIES IN THIS AREA.

1.01 GENERAL REQUIREMENTSA. DRAWINGS AND GENERAL PROVISIONS OF CONTRACT, INCLUDING GENERAL AND SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS AND DIVISION 1
SPECIFICATION SECTIONS, APPLY TO THIS SECTION.
1.02 PRINCIPAL WORK IN THIS SECTIONA. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.RELATED DOCUMENTS: ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATIONS, LIGHTING FIXTURE SPECIFICATION PACKAGE, GENERAL, SPECIAL ANDSUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS, SHALL FORM A PART OF THESE SPECIFICATIONS.
2.SCOPE OF WORK: PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED LABOR, MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND CONTRACTOR'S SERVICES NECESSARY FOR COMPLETEAND SAFE INSTALLATION OF ELECTRICAL WORK IN CONFORMITY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF ALL AUTHORITIES HAVE JURISDICTION; ASINDICATED ON DRAWINGS AND/OR HEREIN SPECIFIED OR DESCRIBED.
3.DAMAGE TO OTHER WORK: REPAIR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THIS SECTION TO WORK OF OTHER SECTIONS.4.DAMAGE TO FIREPROOFING: REPAIR ANY DAMAGED FIREPROOFING CAUSED BY THIS SECTION TO INTEGRITY OF ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION.5.SITE SAFETY: CONTRACTOR COVENANTS AND AGREES THAT HE AND HIS SUBCONTRACTORS AND HIS AND THEIR AGENTS, SERVANTS AND
EMPLOYEES WILL PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A SAFE PLACE TO WORK AND THAT HE AND THEY WILL COMPLY WITH ALL LAWS ANDREGULATIONS OF ANY GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION THEREOF, AND CONTRACTOR AGREES TO INDEMNIFY,DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS, ENGINEER, OWNER AND ARCHITECT FROM AND AGAINST ANY LIABILITY, LOSS, DAMAGE OR EXPENSE,INCLUDING ATTORNEY'S FEES, ARISING FROM A FAILURE OR ALLEGED FAILURE ON THE PART OF CONTRACTOR, THIS SUBCONTRACTORSAND HIS AND THEIR AGENTS, SERVANTS AND EMPLOYEES TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A SAFE PLACE TO WORK OR TO COMPLY WITHALL LAWS AND REGULATIONS OF ANY GOVERNMENTAL AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION THEREOF.
6.VERIFICATION OF EXISTING: BEFORE SUBMITTING BID, BECOME THOROUGHLY FAMILIAR WITH ACTUAL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND OF THEPRESENT INSTALLATIONS TO WHICH CONNECTIONS MUST BE MADE OR WHICH MUST BE CHANGED OR ALTERED. THE INTENT OF THEWORK IS SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND NO CONSIDERATION WILL BE GRANTED BY REASON OF LACK OFFAMILIARITY ON THE PART OF THE CONTRACTOR WITH ACTUAL PHYSICAL CONDITIONS, REQUIREMENTS, AND PRACTICES AT THE SITE.
7.REQUIREMENTS OF OTHER SECTIONS: CAREFULLY CHECK THE DOCUMENTS OF OTHER SECTIONS TO ASCERTAIN THE REQUIREMENTS OFANY INTERFACING MATERIALS OR EQUIPMENT BEING FURNISHED AND/OR INSTALLED BY THAT SECTION WHICH RELATE TO THIS SECTION,AND PROVIDE THE PROPER INSTALLATION AND/OR CONNECTION.
8.INFORMATION TRANSFER: TRANSMIT ALL INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR WORK BEING PERFORMED BY OTHER SECTIONS IN AMPLE TIME FORTHE PROPER INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION, AND FOR THE PROVISION OF ALL OPENINGS REQUIRED IN FLOORS AND WALLS.
9.HOLES AND STRUCTURE: FIELD DRILLING AND CUTTING OF HOLES IN BUILDING STRUCTURE REQUIRED FOR WORK UNDER THIS SECTIONSHALL BE COORDINATED THROUGH THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND APPROVED BY OWNER AND BUILDING STRUCTURAL ENGINEER.ALL SUCH CO-ORDINATION, DRILLING, CUTTING AND REINFORCING COSTS SHALL BE BORNE BY THIS CONTRACTOR.
10. SLEEVES: FURNISH AND SET ALL SLEEVES FOR THE PASSAGE OF CONDUIT THROUGH WALLS, ROOF AND FLOORS AND ELSEWHEREAS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE PROPER PROTECTION OF EACH CONDUIT PASSING THROUGH BUILDING SURFACES. COORDINATE THISWORK WITH THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR IN ORDER TO PROPERLY EXPEDITE AND PERFORM THIS WORK.
11. PASSAGE OF EQUIPMENT: CHECK THE DIMENSIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF EQUIPMENT OF THIS SECTION TO ENSURE THAT SUCHEQUIPMENT CAN PASS THROUGH THE NECESSARY AREAS TO REACH ITS ULTIMATE INSTALLED LOCATION. INCLUDE IN BID COSTS FORALL WORK REQUIRED, INCLUDING ANY WORK REQUIRED TO MOVE THE EQUIPMENT THROUGH THE SITE TO THIS FINAL LOCATION,INCLUDING ANY DISMANTLING AND RE-ASSEMBLY.
12. FIRE/SMOKE DAMPER ASSEMBLIES: VERIFY EXACT LOCATIONS WITH THE MECHANICAL DRAWINGS. PROVIDE LINE VOLTAGE MOTORCONNECTIONS AND LOCAL DISCONNECT SWITCHES AS REQUIRED. PROVIDE AND CONNECT DUCT AND/OR AREA SMOKE DETECTORS ASREQUIRED FOR ACTUATION OF THE DAMPER MOTORS.
13. SIGNAGE: PROVIDE SIGNAGE REQUIRED BY CODES AND AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION.14. GUARANTEE: SUBMIT A SINGLE GUARANTEE STATING THAT ALL PORTIONS OF THE WORK ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT
REQUIREMENTS. GUARANTEE ALL WORK AGAINST FAULTY AND IMPROPER MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEARFROM DATE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE BY OWNER, EXCEPT THAT WHERE GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES FOR LONGER TERMS ARESPECIFIED BY CONTRACT, SUCH LONGER TERM SHALL APPLY.
15. RECTIFICATION: AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER, WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER NOTIFICATION, CORRECT ANY DEFICIENCIESWHICH OCCUR DURING THE GUARANTEE PERIOD, ALL TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE OWNER. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BERESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY SUCH DEFICIENCIES AND REPAIR THEREOF AND REIMBURSE THE OWNER FOR ALL COSTSINCURRED.
