The art educators and art students of the School District of Milton are pleased to invite you and your loved ones to the 2020 School District of Milton Art Exhibition at the Milton House Museum. The show features artwork from students in kindergarten through 12th grade in a variety of art media, styles and techniques. As always, the show is an exciting event for students and families.
Please help us celebrate the talents of tomorrow’s creative thinkers and designers today. The show will be open to the public for viewing from Tuesday, March 10-April 19 at the following times: Tuesday - Friday 10am - 4:30pm and Sundays 1-3pm. There will be a closing reception on April 19th from 1-3pm. All families are encouraged to check out the show!

March is Music in our Schools Month Since 1985, MIOSM has been observed as a yearly month-long celebration when schools and communities celebrate music in their local schools and the educators who dedicate themselves to bringing music into the lives of students every day.
This year’s theme is “Music Changes Lives.”
Milton is very fortunate to have such a talented and dedicated team of music educators. Each teacher brings their unique style to teaching music standards and each inspires our children to find the many ways that music connects us and changes our lives. Join us in thanking our K-3 music teachers, Ms. Ahlstrom-Kuhn at Milton East, Mrs. Jewer at Milton West and Consolidated, and Mrs. Bennett at Harmony.

Recess Clothing Reminders Hooray! Spring is on its way! It is that goofy time of year when we have the need for winter gear one day and not another, or even one part of a day and not later in the day. It is best to be prepared with all the winter gear until the weather is consistently warmer.
We also have a lot of mud this time of year, so wearing boots is a great idea, so that the shoes they wear at school and your homes don’t track the spring mud around.

We are awarding 10 front row seats, 10 seats in the second
row, and both include VIP parking spots reserved just for you
for the kindergarten and first grade music concert on Thursday,
April 2nd from 6:00 - 7:00! The 4 winning families will be chosen at random to each win 5
reserved seats in the first or second row and a VIP parking spot!
Every kindergarten and first grade student will receive one ticket to be placed in the contest
box. But you can sweeten your odds by purchasing more tickets through a monetary
donation.
Suggested donation: 1 ticket for $5.00 or 3 tickets for $10.00
The funds donated will be used to purchase brand new shiny books for classroom libraries
and intervention! Checks can be made payable to West.
