We know you’re always looking for ways to improve efficiency in your office, and we want to help. We have offered download of policy information directly to your management system for many years, but we continue to look for ways to improve! Here’s a quick update of the most recent changes: AGRI-RANGE DOWNLOAD: We continue to have many agencies utilizing this optional download for Agri-Range. While farm business is “standardized” in the data that is shared, we have had good results for many agencies. One area of concern has been property items such as Other Structures, Scheduled Property, etc. We previously downloaded those items as “coverages,” and had some confusion. After some testing, we have found that downloading them as Scheduled Property is working well. This change will be made automatically for all Agri-Range downloads starting August 1st. NOW AVAILABLE -- COMMERCIAL AUTO: Some of you have already activated this, and it is working great. We will automatically add these policies into your agency download beginning August 1st, unless you specifically ask us not to add it. As a result, we’ve been seeing a steady flow of new Agri-Range and Auto applications coming in to Farmers Alliance. Thanks for the business! We are pleased to announce that now we can make it even easier to write new farm business with us! Particularly on the larger, more complex accounts, we want to remind you that you can call your Marketing Representative or your Underwriter to make sure you have provided your customers with the BEST possible coverage and rates we have to offer. In addition to underwriting assistance, we have experienced folks who are experts at rating policies who can help you get the quote just right. Concerned about renewal pricing? Your Underwriter can help with those as well. They can go over the account with you and determine if it is eligible for more discounts. REMEMBER, The service is available NOW for your new and renewal business. If you have questions about how this can help you, please feel free to contact your Underwriter or Marketing Representative. It pays to learn more about roofing materials! Actually it SAVES in the long run! Newer Class 3 and Class 4 impact-resistant shingles can cost more initially, but customers can recover that extra cost in a short time through signficant premium discounts! It’s certainly worth exploring the options when your customer (or you!) need a new roof. Discounts vary by policy type, but can add up quickly! Check out the details in ELi, or ask your Underwriter. We’ll soon have a simple flyer to help remind your customers about this -- we’ll send you a supply, and our Claims staff will also use them when contacting a customer with a roof claim.
