CHOIR BOARD OFFICES AND DUTIES
President Preside at meetings; prepare agenda; worry about things Adam shouldn’t have to worry about.
Vice President In charge of logistics for social functions and choir retreats; tee shirt orders; Purchas-es gifts in consultation with the president.
Secretary Take minutes at meetings; distribute copies before next meeting; arrange for cards to send to members as needed, and send them.
Treasurer Receive money from dues, meals, etc.; dis-burse money at direction of the Board; keep financial records; account for funds.
Historian Collect pictures, concert programs and other memorabilia; put them into scrapbooks; monitor existing scrapbooks whereabouts.
Newsletter Editor Gather news; write and distribute newsletter approximately 4 times/year.
Sergeant-at-Arms Make sure choir gets where it is supposed to be in an orderly (and somewhat digni-fied) fashion, both on Sunday mornings and for special performances and services.
Robes Assign robes to choir members and guest singers; make minor repairs as needed; order new robes as needed; arrange to have robes cleaned once per year.

Refreshments Create and coordinate schedule of members to provide refreshments for breaks at regu-lar and special rehearsals. Monitor supplies in choir cupboard in small kitchen off Re-ception Room and order additional supplies as needed.
Logistics Do whatever needs to be done logistically, not covered above.
Section Leaders (one per section if possible) Take atten-dance in their section at rehearsals, perfor-mances and services; look after health and well - being of the section members; collect dues from section members and give to Treasurer; notify Board and Adam of mem-bers needing special care and concern.
CHOIR BOARD MEETINGS
Choir board usually meets the 3rd Thursday of each month.
Board officers and members are elected by the choir at the last regular rehearsal of the choir year.
Board members normally are elected for two-year terms. The vice president normally serves one year as vice president and the sec-ond year, when nominated by the choir board, as president.
