DUMISANI BURSARY FUNDDumisani Theological Institute, South Africa, operates in an area where most of the students are struggling to pay fees. This, in turn, places a big financial burden on Dumisani as a whole.

A bursary fund is being set up to support those students whose applications show that they would genuinely benefit from receiving some financial help as they study.

The annual cost per student would be around £200, with the hope that 30 students per year would benefit from the fund.

Visit www.dumisani.org for further information.

MISSION INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PROJECTMission International, a charity based on Christian values, implements projects supporting poor communities in the developing world.

Kandaria Village, with a population of 4000, 40% of whom are illiterate, is a needy rural farming community in Kenya, near to Lake Victoria. The local community has begun to build its own secondary school, using funds raised locally.

As part of the St Andrea (St Andrews) project in Kandaria Village, Mission International has been asked to help raise funds to construct and furnish classrooms, laboratories and staff homes for the school.

Visit www.mission-international.org for more information.

COLEGIO SAN ANDRES, LIMASet in the heart of Lima, Colegio San Andres was founded almost a hundred years ago by Free Church of Scotland missionaries. Over recent decades it has played an influential role in the growth of the local evangelical church. The school continues to offer its 800 pupils, aged two to seventeen, a first class education with a strong commitment to biblical values and academic excellence.

The school community is busy preparing for the 2017 centenary celebrations with thanksgiving for all that God has accomplished and anticipation for all that He will do.

Catriona Macdonald teaches English to secondary pupils, seeking to inspire a new generation of Peruvians to follow Jesus. She leads assemblies and aims to live out her faith in all aspects of school life. WfM hope to raise funds to enable Catriona to continue serving there.

The stage is already a focal point for various school events and shows. In time for the upcoming centenary celebrations, we hope to purchase much-needed replacement electric curtains.

Colegio San Andres' Student Bursary Fund helps pupils who come either from large families or from families who experience financial difficulties. This fund is also used to award scholarships to pupils who attain first place in the annual scholarship exams.
