Terms and ConditionsTerms: Cash. Each animal is to be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer shall settle any dispute as to bids. All cattle are to be paid for by

the purchasers during or immediately after the sale and will not be released until after settlement has been made. Each animal will be at the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is sold.

Announcements at the sale ring by the manager or auctioneer shall take precedence over statements in the sale catalog. The owner is responsible for any statements or announcements regarding his consignments in the sale.

Health certificates will be delivered to the purchaser at time of settlement.

Registration certificates will be transferred through the AHA to the buyer at the seller’s expense by the WHA secretary. Buyers should advise the clerk of the WHA of proper names and addresses in making transfer. AI certificates will not be furnished by the seller on females carrying the service of non-owned AI sires.

Breeding Guarantee: All bulls and females are guaranteed to be breeders if given proper care. Heifers pronounced safe in calf by the veterinarian shall be considered breeders without any further guarantee. All bulls over the age of 12 months will be semen tested. A copy of the semen test will accompany the health papers. All claims for adjustments must be in writing within six months of sale. Any animal returned to the seller because it does not comply with the guarantee will be at the buyer’s cost of transportation. Animals of breeding age that fail to breed after a six-month trial may be returned to the seller’s farm if in good condition. The seller reserves the right to try said animals for six months and if it proves to be a breeder, return it to the farm of the buyer. If the animal proves to be a non-breeder, the purchase price will be refunded or another animal will be furnished at the buyer’s request.

Liability: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. Neither the management nor the WHA assume liability, legal or otherwise, for accidents which may occur.
