“Wise people think before they act.”- Proverbs 13:18

Part 4: “Think about it”BASIC FACT:

My ____________________ reflects ____________________

and determines ____________________.

1. Think about the ____________________ you are building on.

“So, why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say? I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teach-

ing, and then follows it. It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who

hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house without a founda-tion. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a

heap of ruins.” Luke 6: 46-49 (NLT)

2. Think About the ____________________ you are believing in.

“Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of

this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.” Colossians 2: 8-9 (NLT)

1 Corinthians 1:18 (NLT)

QUESTION TO ASK: Do I have a ____________________ viewpoint?

3. Think about the _____________________ you are looking for.

“And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment, so also Christ died once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to

all who are eagerly waiting for Him.” Hebrews 9: 27-28 (NLT)
