• Years of previous discussion lay the groundwork for the recent Drought Contingency Plan process

• ADWR and CAWCD hosted a Joint Briefing for the Arizona water community in June 2018

• Steering Committee of water users, stakeholders and legislative leaders convened to recommend how to adopt a Lower Basin Drought Contingency Plan acceptable to Arizona

• Nine Steering Committee meetings were conducted from July 2018 through February 2019

• Expect reductions in Arizona to be unmitigated
