Action will get underway Friday and conclude Sunday at Oakville Gymnastics Centre, located on Third Line near the Glen Abbey Recreation Centre. Cann at worlds Oakville netminder Trevor Cann has been named to the Canadian team for the world under-18 hockey championship in Finland. Cann had a 3.69 average and a .909 save percentage in 62 games with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League. The Canadian team will open the tournament tomorrow against Germany.
