Two of the opposition party leaders have resigned meaning both parties will be looking for a new leader. Their members will get a say, but what if you could choose your leader, who
would you choose?

What you might look for in a leader is a deeply personal thing so the list the follows are the qualities that I
would look for and won’t necessarily match with your list. So I would
want someone who:

Has clarityA clear goal and vision is, for me, essential but at the same time it also has to be realistic and believable. Too often you cannot buy into a leader’s grand scheme as you really don’t think that it is possible.
Is PersonableI want someone that I feel I can speak to and have a real conversation with.
I admireI want the individual to be someone that I would like to emulate, to learn from their successes.
Is honestSurely this goes without saying?
Is a team playerSomeone who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in and not just delegate.
