What is Amadeus B2B Wallet Prepaid?Amadeus B2B Wallet Prepaid is a prepaid virtual payment card, providing a simple and cost-effective way to manage the complex process of paying your travel suppliers.

Two payment options give you the choice of either generating additional revenue from a rebate or reducing the impact of costly credit card surcharges.

• Earn a rebate each time the card is used using a MasterCard prepaid card

• Save on credit card surchages by using a Visa debit card

Amadeus B2B Wallet Prepaid can be used to pay for any type of content from any type of supplier, anywhere that MasterCard or Visa are accepted as a method of payment. This includes air travel (BSP airlines and low-cost carriers), rail, car rental, hotels, cruise and travel packages.

How to generate a virtual card in cryptic mode

Mandatory basic entry A virtual card is generated using the VCN/NEW entry, followed by the currency code and the transaction amount.

_ VCN/NEW: to access the service

_ /EURXXX/: currency and amount of the transaction.

Example: Generate a new virtual card for a predefined amount of 123.45 euros:

>VCN/NEW/EUR123.45

Depending on your settings, the system will automatically select the best virtual card option and generate a unique virtual card number with the corresponding expiry date, security code (CVV) and address verification data. This virtual card can then be used like any other card to make a payment.

Add external referenceTo add your own reference to each virtual card number, enter / EXTID-reference (free text)

Additional data Up to five fields of additional data can be associated to each virtual card during the card creation request, in order to improve the reconciliation process. To add additional data, enter:

Example:Virtual card generated for a set amount of €100 and linked to two additional data elements, Passenger Name and Agent ID.

How to create a virtual card in cryptic mode

PNR integration For air and rail content, a simple command automatically generates and inserts the virtual card within a PNR, saving time and avoiding manual copy/paste of payment information into a PNR.

Pre-requisites to use this command:

1. PNR has been previously created

2. PNR has been previously priced (using FXP command or equivalent)

Syntax and command: _ FPVCN: to automatically generate the virtual card and insert as

form of payment in the PNR

>FPVCN

Behind the scenes, the new command will perform the following steps:

1. Amount to be paid is calculated from the PNR

2. Virtual card is generated using the amount obtained

3. Generated virtual card is inserted as a form of payment in the PNR

4. (Optionally) Remarks are added in the PNR flagging a virtual card payment.

Example response:The PNR should then be automatically refreshed, displaying an FP element added to the PNR, as well as the corresponding RM element.

The agent must then commit the PNR as per usual (using ET command or equivalent).

Sending a faxA copy of the virtual card can be sent to a supplier, along with any specific payment instructions, as a part of the card creation process.

A fax template, that can include your agency’s logo, must have been created. This is stored and used to send the virtual card information.

The following details then need to be added at the time of generation:

• Fax number of the hotel• Free text (payment instructions, dates of stay, invoice, etc.)

• Booking reference• Traveller name (as additional data)
