On Step 5, you can choose to receive CE credit for the CITI courses you take (these may incur additional costs to you beyond the course fee that NC State pays for) and to agree to be contacted by CITI for things other than the course(s) you register for. Whatever you select on this page will not affect your CITI account set-up.

You can choose to have your CITI courses certified for CE credit with a number of professional

organizations. By selecting “yes,” you may incur additional fees

beyond the cost of the CITI courses that NC State pays for.

By selecting “no,” you will still be able to register for CITI courses and receive course completion

certificates, but without the additional CE certificate.

If you selected “yes” to the CE credit question immediately prior, here you

would select which CE credit certification you would like.

Generally, people choose the professional field that they are

affiliated with or a cognate field. Whether you click “Yes,” “Not sure” or

“No” to these questions will not

affect your CITI registration.
