Cloud Connections are customized half-day events designed for Cloud Providers, Cloud Builders and Cloud Services Resellers to meet, network and discover how they can go to market selling Cisco Cloud Services. Attendees participate in interactive and dynamic sessions with industry leaders, Cisco experts and ecosystem partners to explore innovative ways to lead sales teams and transform their businesses. Main Objectives Establish GTM platform for networking where all partners can interact and make key connections Reinforce Cisco and Partner joint leadership position in Cloud strategy Deliver relevant content applicable to all Cloud partner audiences, on a wide range of timely topics: o Cloud GTM strategies & tools: https://gotomarket.cisco.com/ o Partnering best practices o Cisco Powered branding opportunities: http://www.cisco.com/go/ciscopowered o Marketing campaigns & resources: http://www.ciscopartnermarketing.com/ o Cloud program enrollment and certification process: www.cisco.com/go/cmsp Learn more about upcoming events and see presentations from past events: http://www.ciscocloudconnection.com Cloud Providers: Partners who choose a business model of owning the cloud assets, datacenter, NOC and offer Cisco Powered Cloud Services (XaaS) to customers. Cloud Providers do not usually sell any hardware or software to the customer. They may choose to sell their Cisco Powered Cloud Services either direct to customers or indirect through resellers. This model does require significant capital investment. Cloud Builders: Partners whose primary business model is to build private clouds for an end-user customer or a public cloud for a Cloud Provider. The Cloud Builder provides the hardware, software and professional services to build the cloud but the builder does NOT own the cloud at the end of the transaction. The cloud assets are owned by the end user customer or Cloud Provider. Cloud Services Resellers: Partners who see the opportunity or demand from their customers for Cisco Powered Cloud Services (XaaS) but do not want to make the capital investments needed to be a Cloud Provider themselves. These partners instead choose to resell or white label other providers’ services. This requires very little capital investment but the margins are commensurate with the level of investment.
