WHAT IS LAUNCH PAD?Launch Pad offers free support to help 18 – 28 year olds find work or training.
WHO CAN ACCESS SUPPORT?We can offer free support to anyone who
• lives in Swale
• is aged 18 to 28
• has been out of work for 3 months**If you’re a care leaver you can access support immediately
WHAT CAN WE OFFER?You’ll be matched with a Launch Pad mentor and receive one-to-one support to help you find work.
We can:
• Link you with our network of employers and training providers
• Help you find work experience and job opportunities
• Contribute to costs that will help you get a job e.g. to put towards the cost of an interview outfit or work equipment, to access a short course or training, to pay for official ID, or the cost of travel to work
• Put you in touch with professional counselling and mental health services
WHERE ARE WE?Launch Pad offers a drop in service between 10AM and 3PM every:
Tuesday and Wednesday at Phoenix House, Sittingbourne
Thursday at Sheppey Gateway, Sheerness

is a new service that has been developed
following the success
of employment project, Talent
Match South East. Launch Pad works
with organisations who specialise in helping
young people into work – so you’re in good hands.
These include The Prince’s Trust, CXK, KATO, Jobcentre
Plus, Swale Borough Council, Sheerness Gateway, Phoenix
House and The Pyramid Project.
