ADVANTAGES OF PRE ENGINEERED BUILDING
Steel is recyclable and is considered as a green building material.
Quality control is much better as material is pre-fabricated.
Speed of construction could be much higher as offsite fabrication helps increasing speed.
Steel with its high strength in tension and compression offers lot of choice to architects. Lot of shapes which cannot be imagined in RCC can be imagined in steel.
Dependency on labour is reduced as much less manpower is engaged at site.
Modifications in steel building are much easier than RCC building. 8.Keeping in view lower dead loads of steel buildings loading capacity of a structure can be much easily increased compared to an RCC building.
Advanced technologies are being deployed in manufacturing of these buildings. The industry is using BIM (building information modelling) software like TEKLA.
