Sports Physical Therapy Sport- an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.

Physical Therapy- the treatment of disease, injury, or deformity by physical methods such as massage, heat treatment, and exercise rather than by drugs or surgery.

To improve upon physical and psychological limitations that will allow athletes to perform at their peak and decrease their risk of future injury.
