What is sup?

ARCHITECTURE
• We use eclipse with workflow form editor plug-in as the workspace to develop the MBO(mobile business objects).
• MBO’s are the business logic used in the mobile apps .
• Data can be retrieved from multiple backend sources as shown in the above architecture.
• Applications are deployed to the unwired server and mobile devices can access it through a secure connection with the server.
• Server connections are managed using SCC.
Components used
• Sybase unwired server– Used to start the Sybase services like work space and
control center.• Sybase mobile SDK– Used to develop the mobile apps.
• Sybase control center(SCC)– Used to register and manage devices and also to assign
workflow to the mobile devices. • Android Emulator– Test the applications.
CREATING MOBILE BUSINESS OBJECTS
Accessing the databaseFrom the tables in the database select the
appropriate table by dragging and dropping it to the mobile application diagram.
• Select the operations and click ok.
Creating Workflow Form Editor
Select whether it’s server or client initiated
Drag and drop the customer MBO to the flow design
Go to screen design tabFrom menu item list select the menu item and click on the menu and add a name to that.
Go to properties tab
Enter the details as shown in the below diagram
Finally deploy the project
Click next in the below screen
Select the database and click finish
Right Click on the white space in flow design and select workflow package
Select the unwired server and the user to which the workflow is assigned
Register the device in SCC
Configuring the server details in mobile
Go to sybase workflow shown in above diagram and enter the password
Then click the menu button
Go to setting and enter the server details
Then you will click on SAVE on the following window
Click on “Workflows”.
