The types of audience the revolution attracts 34-54 years old mostly male however have some schedule show for women such as knitting session. Tameside is very similar to Oldham community station due to their target audience. However the main difference between the two is how they are funded and how they use money to advertise. Tameside makes money by allowing companies to advertise through the website and radio station by the cost of £50 a week. Whereas Oldham Community radio station is funded thorough sponsors and donations. Oldham Community is owned by ‘BSKYB’ making it not an In-house local radio station. Oldham community get most of their news updates and jingle and technology feature made in London by ‘BskyB’ headquarters.  Since the Radio show will be broadcasted on OCR, our slotted time is 7am -9 am school strand for the ages between 14- 19 years old mixed genders who attend school or college. We have to keep up with today’s youth with trends, language and news that will keep their attention and news that they can relate to. I think that the News bulletin fits in well with OCR school strand because all the news stories and bulletin feature such as music all relate and affect the target audience. The hard news story is about education which is affecting those within the school strand. The soft story is also about sport and education affecting the school strand.
