Getting Dressed has never been easier! Our pants have a wider cut and higher rise in the back (no more uncomfortable gaping in the back and unsightly bunching in the front); elasticized waistbands are fitted with an adjustable chord; reinforced wrist loops for lifting and dressing are standard; and, all cargo and patch pockets are positioned high, on the front of the pant for easy access. All of our adaptations are designed to be inconspicuous.

Opens from the right inner hem to the left inner hem. Provides easy access for personal needs without having to undress or remove shoes! Good for use with tubes or bags. Inside seam opening comes with a functional Velcro™ fly.

Option #4 — Outside Seam Opening

Opens completely on both side from the waist to the hem. This Options allows the pants to lay flat which eliminates lifting! Dress a person laying

in bed or seated in a chair. Good for use with tubes. Zipper or snap closures available on some styles.

We offer four different pant opening Options to fit your needs. With a variety of closures that support independence and help care givers such as snaps, zippers and Velcro™. All of our adaptations are designed to be inconspicuous. Our clothes are very hard working, but they also look great on! If adaptive clothing helps you be or become more independent, such as to use the bathroom alone at school or at work, and there is a doctor who knows your situation well, ask the doctor to write a prescription for adaptive clothing. Write a letter to the doctor in which you state, for example, how a waterproof cape could keep your legs dry as you wait for the bus, so that you arrive ready to work, or that pants that open more easily could enable you to cath much more safely, or to transfer alone in the bathroom. Sign the letter and keep a copy.

If there is a vocational rehab person or a family service professional with whom you meet, send them a copy. Mail the letter to your doctor and call to explain your purpose.

Prescriptions are written for adaptive equipment because it is medically necessary for functioning. Sometimes clothing makes the difference between being trapped in the house or being free.

Dear Customer,

I am excited to introduce you to the first Easy Access Clothing Catalog. Easy Access Clothing has created a new wave in functional fashion for the disAbled customer. As a special education teacher I have spent my career working with people with special needs. As an educator my goal has always been one thing, to assist and encourage an independent and confident lifestyle for my wonderful students. What I have noticed to be the common challenge for all my students is trying to be independent in a world that is not adaptable. I started Easy Access Clothing to attack this problem at its most basic level: clothing.

I believe that a closet full of high quality fashionable clothing that adapts to your specific needs will allow you to look and feel great while giving you one more tool to support your independence. But comfort and style are only half of the equation. I know from first hand experience that putting on and taking off clothing challenges the physical and emotional strength of both disAbled individuals and those who care for them. Easy Access Clothing eliminates the struggle! These clothes will give you more opportunities to care for yourself while making it easier for your caregiver to assist you.

I believe in infinite possibilities! Your life should be filled with dignity and independence. You will find this by surrounding yourself with the right tools and self esteem.
