What Makes It Hard To Sustain The Divinity of Indian Brahmin Marriages?- A Case Study AbstractMarriage is regarded as one of the critical pillars in the oldest and richest world of traditions and rituals in Indian heritage. Of these, Brahmins are regarded as scholars and who follow traditions and rituals even in the modern world. Marriage is the most critical phase of one’s life and a Brahmin marriage is a divine ritual usually performed for 5 days. The process for finding a bride and the procedures for marriage and the guidelines for a sustainable marriage are explicitly and clearly documented in Sanatana Dharma. In this paper, we unfold the promises that are made by bride and groom in the marriage process while unfolding each and every mantra, their meanings and the impact of these mantras in their relationship. An analysis of the history and literature of Indian marriages and more specifically Brahmin marriages reveals that there is “no separation” of couple once married under any circumstances. However, unfortunately, recent trends suggest that these marriages are also being broken often because of dramatic and weird activities. We make an attempt to list the key reasons and rationale for this pathetic situation based on a case study. We particularly emphasize how modern immoral trends like secret cybersex before and after marriage, undermining of ethics and values, support of felon family for these kinds of activities play a major role in dismantling even traditional marriages. We then elaborate how digital records and logs reveal the hidden secrets and immoral activities of criminals. We finally end the paper by suggesting ways to move forward towards sustaining Indian Brahmin marriages. What Makes It Hard To Sustain The Divinity of Indian Brahmin Marriages?- A Case Study

Abstract—Marriage is regarded as one of the critical pillars in the oldest and richest world of traditions and rituals in Indian heritage. Of these, Brahmins are regarded as scholars and who follow traditions and rituals even in the modern world. Marriage is

the most critical phase of one’s life and a Brahmin marriage is a divine ritual usually performed for 5 days. However, unfortunately, recent trends suggest that these marriages are also being broken

often because of dramatic and weird activities.

Life is a Balance - Jeevana Thula Bharam

True Love outweighs everything

Unfortunately,

there are many

people today

who fall in the trap of superficial

love and world,

trust fake people

and eventually lose valuable life!

They cannot see

the value of true love unless in deep trouble

A philosophy:

There is good and

bad in everybody

and the churning

of mind towards

getting pure

nectar

(goodness/amrut

ham) initially

results in evil

thoughts

(halaham) which

are taken away

by Ishwara. Then

finally, Godess

Lakshmi and the

nectar emerges

to enlighten our

lives…

Ksheera Sagara Mathanam

Churning of ocean of thoughts: good versus evil

A mythical story:

A marriage

happens between

a Deva Purusha

and Asura Kanya,

after churning of

their life, halahalam

(poison) emerges.

Lord Shiva

consumes this

halahalam and

dismantles their

marriage and saves

the sanity of

marriage and lives

of Devas…

Essence:

Good over evil

No matter how well you feed a snake, it will still emit poison

He healed a wounded snake…

Gave it life again, fed it with milk by sacrificing

his own life… But the snake brutally kills the person who saved

it by backstabbing and shows its real colors…

The young queen

evil over good

There is a nice cow…

A woman slowly feeds

the cow and its milk with

poison injection

The cow is saved by

giving an anti-poison

injection

But how to remove the

poison from the milk?

Milk

Cow, Milk and Poison – Is there a way to eliminate poison?
