Travelling advice by Seniors
These tips are provided by senior students living in Canada. You are advised to verify the authenticity as rules oftenchange.
1. While travelling through Europe, If you have more than two transfer points, then you may need a transit visa.
2. If you are travelling through London, Brussels or other airports, Please do check the content limit of things liketoothpaste and cream before putting them in your laptop or carryon Bag. They will simply throw the thingswhich are over the limit.
3. Those who are coming via Air France may face discrimination or small incidents of racism. Please be quiet anddon’t respond anyone aggressively.
4. Those who are coming from Cathay Pacific just need to relax as the flight is little long. There is nothing else toworry about.
5. The students who are coming in Winter session should try to book flights with transit time more than 3 hours assometimes flights get delayed and it a hassle to catch the next flight.
6. Those Coming via Air India Air Canada can ask the Gate agent in a politely and friendly way about how manyluggage suits they have onboard before boarding at the transit point.
7. Strictly vegetarian people should choose their meal plan before.
8. Always follow the queue and it is very rude to break the queue.
