Winter Ski
Ladik is one of districts of Samsun. And Ladik offers us some different kind of opportunities about
tourism as spa or winter ski.
The Akdağ is a mountain where has the suitable pist of ski. The Akdağ is 75 km far from
Samsun. People can arrive there either their own vehicles or by using some travel agency.But it
must be carefull if the people want to reach by using their own vehicles.Especially on the snowy
days ,way of the facility may be closed .Vehicles must be fitted chain.
There has been a motel in Akdağ. And also a restaurant has been too. The people can hire the
equipmants of ski there.

Water Skiing Center of Samsun is the only adress for water skiing in the Black Sea.It has been equipped with a high-
quality audio editing facil ities, and music brings to skiing full of energy.
Facility where you can find everything you need in the center of a water-skiing and water skiing when you receive each a
joy to watch. When you watch them you can enjoy the blue of the Black Sea.

The facil ity is belong to Samsun Metropolitan Municipality.And also there is a place where has been established for
those who want to camp for those wishing to stay in the caravan park.

You can have a breakfast when you are travelling around by boat. Many sociations make some
organization on the boat. Even the wedding ceramony...
If you are lucky you can come across some flock of dolphins.And you can watch the city from the
sea to be able to understand that how fast Samsun is bigger and bigger...

Ordinary Sunday in September in Samsun
Samsun's weather gives us generally good condition in September. And if you want to walk
during the coast you can do it at the Atakum beach kilometers and kilometers.
If you want to do something different calmly you can fish at the jetty . Sea, sun and voice of
wave are perfect trio for the therapy in the crowded city life.

There are many cafes and restaurants on the whole road . You can choose one of them in order
to sit whatever you want to eat or drink. By the way the bill you will pay may differ in a wide
variety according to your choice.

There are some facilities dealing with council at coast. And especially the youths prefer this
cafes and restaurants because of the cheaper price.
Even if we are in September you can have a sunbath at this beach and you can swim .
When the sun goes down behind of the mountain the silence affects you with a big dark blue sky.

Paragliders Meet in Canik
The Paragdiling Festival was organized first time on 1st and 2nd September in Canik.60
paraliders from 15 different provinces joined this festival.The citizens who wanted to fly with the
instructor of paragdiling have flown on the second day of the fest.

The Mayor of Canik District and his wife also flew with the instructor of paragdiling approximately
15 minutes . Mr. Osman Genç declared that Canik is so suitable for all kind of nature sports.
Mr Genç ,who have declared that they wanted to develop the turizm in Canik , announced that this
festival will be held in Canik. He also declared that they want Canik district to become a trade
mark.And Some courses will be organized in order to develop this sport in Canik.

Hot Summer Nights in Samsun
Samsun is a city is situated on The Black Sea Coast. The climate of Black Sea region is generally
mild in summer time.But in July, the nights start to become hot.
