HOW COMPUTER VISION WORKS
Computer vision is a field of artificial intelligence that trains computers to interpret
and understand the visual world. Using digital images from cameras and videos and deep learning models, machines can accurately identify and classify
objects — and then react to what they “see.”
AcquiringImages, even large sets, can be acquired in real-time through
video, photos or 3D technology for analysis.
ProcessingDeep learning models, trained by thousands of labeled or pre-
identified images, automate the process.
UnderstandingThe final step is the interpretative step, where an
object is identified or classified.

Deep learning is a type of machine learning
that trains a computer to perform human-like tasks, such as recognizing speech, identifying
images or making predictions. Instead of organizing data to run through predefined equations, deep learning trains the computer
to learn on its own by recognizing patterns using many layers of processing.
Machine learning is a method of data analysis
that automates analytical model building. It is based on the idea that systems can learn
from data, identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention.
