ARTSONIA—Student Portfolio

All parents/guardians will have access to their students ARTSONIA.com account. This is a

place for you to see the finished product from each project. You will also see the growth of

your student(s) through the years. This also serves as a way to raise money for additional

supplies in the Art Room. For students who do not have accounts, permission slips are on the

way home. You can also sign up at Back to School Night or by emailing Ms. Ryan.

Grades & Assessments (County Policy)

Homework (5%) (1st - 5th grade) will be given each

quarter. Family members are encouraged to work with the

student on these assignments as a form of support and

encouragement. Assignments shouldn’t take more than 20-30

minutes to complete. All homework that is sent home is designed

to reinforce the assignment we have been working on during the

quarter.

Assessment grade (20%) Including but not limited to: written

tests, oral/written critiques and self evaluations, and final

artwork. The checklist used for the assignments will be on the

back of the students artwork.

Classwork grade (75%) Work that is completed during class.
