We will begin grilling at 2 p.m. and will need a prep team, a cook team, and a distribution team. The meal will be served at Orene Hall on the ASU campus at 6:15 p.m. Please consider helping with this ministry to local college students. If you are able to help, contact Pastor Robert.

Reception for our New Youth Minister - This Sunday, July 14, at 10 a.m.
Join us for a meet and greet time with our new Director of Youth Ministries, Farrah Karimi. This
reception will be held in the Hospitality Room next to the Ministry Center.
Come and meet Porterfield’s newest staff member and demonstrate your support for her as she begins her ministry focused on discipling our youth!
The youth welcome party for Farrah is 5-7 p.m. in the Ministry Center.
We will be having a Fall Revival, held jointly with Albany First Methodist with United Methodist evangelist Rev. Rick Bonfim of Athens, Ga.
The dates for this event, titled Forecast: Joy are September 29-October 2. Services will be held nightly with special music, preaching, prayer, and fellowship. You will be encouraged throughout this
time with Rick’s joyful manner of ministry.
One aspect of our revival services has to do with marking one year since Hurricane Michael. We are all too familiar with the devastation and suffering brought by the storms of the last few years. As people of faith, let’s look to God for a new and totally different forecast for our area - joy, holy love, reconciliation, God’s peace, and lives being transformed through the beautiful power of His grace! That is the forecast, and we want to be in the center, or the “eye,” of a new and awesome work of God!
Please mark your calendar and make plans to come to this event.
