Programs available at the Wentworth Visitor Information Centre. www.milduracountrymusic.com.au 03 5027 5080 5 October, Saturday FLYING DOCTOR ROWATHON on the Murray and Darling Rivers Crews will start rowing from upstream of Mildura at 7.30am and finish between 4.00 and 6.00pm at Wentworth District Rowing Club (WDRC). The Flying Doctor Rowathon is a marathon rowing event held on the Darling and Murray Rivers from Wentworth District Rowing Club (WDRC) and it raises funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service and their Mental Health in Remote Communities Program. This year, crews will row from a private property approximately 20km upstream from Mildura down to and through lock 11 to Apex Park, Mildura, for morning tea then and row down the Murray to Coomealla Golf Club where they will have lunch and perhaps make further crew changes, then row down to Wentworth to finish at WDRC. www.flyingdoctorrowathon.com.au 0412 256 344 5 October, Saturday POONCARIE CUP $16,000 Pooncarie Racecourse, Racecourse Road, Pooncarie Gates open 11am - 5.30pm Mildura Toyota proudly supporting the Sunraysia and & Mallee Region and 2019 Annual Race Day of the Pooncarie Cup. Airstrip, Sky Channel, Full on Course Tote & Bookmakers. Get dressed up for Fashions on the Field. Many categories for all ages from best dressed Tiny Tot to Best Track Hat/Fascinator. Hot and cold food is available, and cold drinks as well as Bar facilities. Jumping Castle for the children. A great social day out for families. No Glass and No BYO allowed into the race meeting. Enjoy a family day out at an Outback Race Meet.
