Dear owners & associates,

Ahead lies the 2019 “Diversify” Convention at the beautiful renovated KC Airport Marriott Hotel. I’d

like to stress how useful and beneficial it is for all Dr. Vinyl and the Doctor’s Touch associates to join the

Dr. Vinyl Convention!

Asking questions and sharing experiences with your fellow Dr. Vinyl and the Doctor’s Touch techni-

cians is an absolute must in our special niche of business.

You will learn that by diversifying your business, which is done already by several owners, will prevent

you from slowing down in the wintertime.

Taking good care of retail customers is a far undervalued marketing tool, which will also make good

money for you!

People talk! This is your best, and free, marketing tool. They talk at home, at social gatherings, at work,

everywhere. They will also talk about the repair miracles Dr. Vinyl offers. Use this free marketing tool

to your benefit!!!

Doing aluminum wheels is a great addition to your current services.

Doing vinyl siding is a great addition to your current services.

Doing upholstery is a great addition to your current services.

There is so much you could add to make your business more profitable and add value to your franchise.

Off course the will to work hard, be reliable, provide excellent quality with environmental and health

safe products is the foundation for success. We will also discuss this topic at the owners only meeting on

Thursday afternoon!

The vendors pavilion will be a “small mobile tech show” with close to 20 vendors presenting and

demonstrating their products.

For entertainment we will have a karaoke contest on Friday night with the first prize being a weekend in

Las Vegas at the Aria Hotel, so give it your best! Other prizes will be announced at the “Diversify” con-

vention.

Looking forward to seeing you soon! CEO—Richard Reinders

Dear Partners,

Yes, it is Convention Time for The Dr. Vinyl Group! We all at the Dr. Vinyl Corporate Office are always very excit-

ed when this time of the year comes around. We encourage all franchise owners to make every effort to attend

along with your associates. There are so many benefits to attending convention. Meeting and sharing information

with your fellow associates. Visiting with staff members to learning different ways they can help you grow your busi-

ness. Asking questions and getting answers from current vendors that will be in attendance. You will see first hand

what tools, products and services they have to offer that will help you do a quality job more quickly and cost effectively.

During this three day extravaganza, Thursday night you’ll be able to spend time networking with others during our

Hospitality room gathering, Friday night there will be live entertainment, and, of course, Saturday night will be the tra-

ditional awards banquet ceremony. Most importantly, the 2019 “DIVERSIFY” - convention focuses on all of us working

together to achieve the same goals. Speak directly with your fellow partners on the latest trends in the industry and see

how they go about completing repairs, speaking with managers, getting new accounts, and maintaining accounts. We

know from past experience that one of the key components to operating a successful business is when everyone is

communicating with each other. That is what sets us apart from our competition. Don’t miss your opportunity to join us

at convention. This will be three days packed with training and information that you will need to make 2019 a success-

ful year.

Here are our Top-Ten Reasons NOT to attend Convention:

1. I refuse to diversify my business, I’d rather have all my business tied up into three accounts.

1. I want to diversify my business. I do not want to have my business tied up into three accounts.

2. I simply have better things to do than investing in my business.

2. I know it is important to invest in my business and help it grow.

3. I have too many accounts and I’m making to much money. I need to slow down.

3. I would like to get new accounts and make more money. Nothing slows me down.

4. If I’m at a training seminar for a few days out of the year to learn better ways to service my customers, I will

lose all my accounts to my competition.

4. My customers are aware of the need to keep updated with repair procedures and products and understand that

I have to invest a few days of the year into training purposes.

5. I still run my business like I did 20 years ago. No need for new ways of doing business.

5. I have a successful business for 20 years because I keep updated and informed about the industry.

6. I need to help my competitors grow, so I don’t offer the services they offer.

6. I don’t want to lose a customer to a competitor because of a service they offer that I’m lacking.

7. Meeting other Dr. Vinyl Partners who have successfully grown their business doesn’t matter. Their situation is

totally different than mine.

7. Meeting other Dr. Vinyl Partners who have successfully grown their business can help me improve my busi

ness even if their situation is slightly different than mine.

8. All the customers I’ll ever need are lined up outside my door.

8. It is beneficial to learn about new ways to gain more customers.

9. Sharing and receiving information from other successful franchise partners that offer the same services I do, all

in one place, is a waste of time.

9. Sharing and receiving information from other successful franchise partners that offer the same services I do, all

in one place, is a great opportunity that I wouldn’t want to miss!

10. I don’t like to learn new things. It’s bad for business.

10. I like to learn new things. It is good for business.

Dr. Vinyl & The Doctors Touch is pleased to an-

nounce that we recently launch a new way of

communicating with partners. INSTANT MESSAGING!

Earlier in the month we sent out our first text

message directly to all Dr. Vinyl & The Doctors

Touch partners mobile device. If you did not

receive that message, then we do not have your

mobile phone number on file. We understand

that 99.9% of all techs main line of communica-

tion for their business is through your cell

phone. Therefore we only found it fitting to

send urgent notifications, parts specials, pro-

motions etc. directly to your phone. When you

see these messages, simply click (touch) the

highlighted link (if applicable) and it will

take you where you need to go. We hope you en-

joy this new tool! Happy Messaging!!!!

A reminder from the Accounts Receivables Desk

I hope everyone is having a good year. I want to take this time to re-

mind the owners that their recaps and payment for said recaps are

due by the 10th of the month. All parts statements are due to be paid

by the 15th of the month. If for some reason you can not have payment

to me by the due date please call me and let me know and I will work

with you. I’d rather you call me than me have to call you!! No one ever

enjoys hearing from me for some reason! Ha! Ha! We also have a pro-

gram called Instant Rebate. If you would like more information on get-

ting your rebate instantly every month, just let me know and I will give

you that info. I want everyone to know they are more than welcome to

call me anytime with any Account Receivable question and I will do all

I can to get it an answer. Let’s make 2019 the best year yet!!!
