Wu has 8 years of experience in the field of filtration equip- ment, the last 6 with SERFILCO. He previously served as Design Engineer and Assistant Engineer- ing Manager prior to this promo- tion. In his new position, he will be responsible for design improve- ment on existing equipment lines as well as the development of new products. Nordson Corp., Westlake, Ohio, announced the ap- pointment of Peter Lambert to Direc- tor, Corporate De- velopment and Global Business In- formation. In this position Lambert will be responsible for acquisition activities, as well as integrating information sys- tems across all Nordson geo- graphic locations and businesses. Most recently, Lambert was Man- aging Director, Nordson Austra- lia/New Zealand, where he was responsible for sales and service of Nordson products. In 1993 and in 1994, he was named Product Development Manager for the company’s powder systems busi- ness in Amherst, Ohio. In 1996 he assumed additional responsibility for operations and manufacturing for the powder systems unit. Nordson Corp. has also an- nounced the appointment of John Byers to Director, Supply Chain Man- agement. In this new position Byers will provide func- tional leadership for global purchasing activities, working with Nordson business groups and subsidiaries worldwide to build partnerships with key suppliers. Byers most re- cently was Director, Technical Support for the company’s elec- tronics business. He joined Nord- son in June 1994. Henkel Surface Technologies (HST), Madison Heights, Mich., has announced that Don Findley (pictured) and Tony Hiller have been appointed Group Directors. Findley will head up Coated Coil Products and Hiller will be responsible for Aluminum Finishing, Aviation, and Metal- working. Spectronics Corp., Westbury, N.Y., has appointed Nancy Clausen as marketing specialist for its worldwide line of Spectroline ultraviolet equip- ment for NDT and quality control. Clausen will coor- dinate the company’s new product planning and promotions and will oversee all trade show activities and lead generation programs. Before joining Spectronics, Clausen was a marketing project manager at Nortel Networks, Bo- hemia, N.Y.
