example and see what you already know…

Yesterday it was announced that the Local Education Authority wants to close your

school. Once you have stopped celebrating (!), think about how this might affect you,

and your local community. Consider where you would have to go to school.

CRUISIN’ the seas Use Google maps to design a poster/brochure of an ocean cruise. You are to include the

following information :

You will be visiting three ports

List what ocean or sea you will be travelling across

State how far and how long will it take you to reach the next port

For each port that you stop at describe what travellers can do and see

once they get off the ship at the port

You can use the following formatting or else create one of your own. You can also include pictures and a

map showing the places you will be visiting.
