Exercise 1 Working with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007

Scenario Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 contains an improved out of the box site template. This template creates

the “starter” site when SharePoint Server 2007 is installed, which can be used to build out the Intranet presence site.

One important change in Office SharePoint Server 2007 is a common template between Windows SharePoint

Services (version 3) and Office SharePoint Server 2007. This eliminates the inconsistencies in navigation in the

previous versions of the technologies.

This initial site template contains many common applications and layouts described in the following sections.

Tasks Detailed Steps

Complete the following

10 tasks on:

MOSS

1. Login and Open IE

a. Login using the following credentials:

b. Wait for the Warmup Script to complete and the popup window to close.
