What’s on Second?

The Lord's Supper… is our weekly commemoration of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We invite all who profess Jesus as their Lord and Savior to take the bread and the juice, and to eat and drink after prayer and reflection.
Today is the day for our 2016 VBS: Summer Games! Kids, you will not want to miss out on this awesome week of fun, where we’ll learn how to run the race & win the prize that God has for us! It all starts this evening and runs through Thursday, June 30 from 6:15-8:30 pm. Kids ages 3—5th grade can still register at: www.nbcc.cc, and we can always use more volunteers to make the week a success! If you’re interested in helping contact Kristie ([email protected]) And
don’t forget our community picnic , which will kicks off our VBS! Starting at 5:00 this afternoon, we will have food and games and a bounce house. This is for everybody to enjoy! Don’t miss out on the Summer Games fun!
We still have available the Holman Illustrated Bible Handbook, which provides valuable background knowledge and a summary of each of the Bible’s 66 books. Normally $17.99, we have them available at the back of the sanctuary for only $5.

There is a shower table at the back of the sanctuary to celebrate the wedding of Ray and Hannah Camarse. Please join us in celebrating and supporting this new family.
From June 5-July 17, Ron will be suspending his Wired Word Sunday School class to teach “How to Read Your Bible.” Starting by looking at what the Bible actually is, we will look at methods you can use to best understand what God is saying to you in his Word. There will also be plenty of time to answer those questions about the Bible you’ve always wanted to ask but never have.
