In order for us to put the “what” of revival into action, we need to be

motivated by the “why.”

The beginning of a life change is to really believe that these words are true

about God.

When you really believe them the motivation and the wisdom to live your life for

Christ will be present.

The first thing that will make sense is for us to present our bodies to Him for salvation.

Then Paul tells us two other things that in light of these

eternal truths that are the only rational things for believers to

do for the rest of their lives:

1) Refuse to be conformed to the thoughts of the world.

A self-centered life is a wrecked life that wrecks others’ lives too.

A transformed mind produces a transformed will by which we

become eager and able, with the Spirit’s help, to lay aside

our own plans and to trustingly accept God’s plans,

no matter what the cost.
