Primary Colors• Red, Yellow, and

1. Neutral• Absence of color. • Black, white, and gray __________________________________________

ACCENTED NEUTRAL COLOR SCHEME
Combines white, black, gray and sometimes beige with a bright color accent.
2. Monochromatic
• Tints and shades of one color on the color wheel

3. ANALOGOUSUses adjacent or neighboring colors on the color wheel with
varying values and intensities of the colors.
Blue-Violet, Violet, Red-Violet
4. Complement• Two colors that
are directly opposite each other on the color wheel.
• Examples: Yellow and Violet
5. Split Complement
• A color scheme using one color with the two colors on the sides of its complement.
• Examples: Yellow, Blue Violet, Red Violet
6. Triad•Three colors that are equal distance apart on the color wheel.
•Examples: Blue, Red, Yellow
Warm Colors•Colors found in fire and the sun.
