WHY

KEY CHALLENGES
Many mentorship programs are either one-off moments, don’t have clear objectives, or push specific product adoption
Leveraging the full range of Google’s expertise is hard if you only operate locally
Engaging with Google and our Partners should be different, googley and community oriented
Only meaningful matches between mentor and mentee create value

3 OKRsdefined
Skills needed
identified
What does the startup wants to achieve with
Google's help within a time frame of 12 weeks?
What specific kind of expertise is then needed
from Google to reach these goals?
Are these OKRs realistic (i.e. can we deliver?)
APPLY
MATCH
When a Startup applies, it has to define a set of OKRs for the program, what they need to achieve them and their feasibility. As OKRs are defined, skills needed to achieve these objectives will also be identified and highlighted in the application.
Startups that are accepted into the program are then matched to Startup Managers according to the SM skills, vertical knowledge, passion and the Startup OKRs. The match is done by the Startup Advisors team + local Google office.
A successful mentorship is possible only if the startup apply with the correct objectives in mind:
