ARTIST STATEMENT

Bianca Librandi is an Australian designer who has an ardentinterest in architecture, interior design and fashion, whichinforms much of her work. Her pieces combine industrialprocesses with traditional handcraft techniques. The strongyet delicate pieces are a result of these processes givingBiancas work a science ction sensibility. Layers of metaloverlap and suggest the silhouette of stars, planets andsolar systems. As these elements meet and cross they drawattention to the void creating an independent beauty.
