N:33 W:116 A Place Where Erosion is Occurring Right Now This shows where water has eroded the side of the hill and left a gap or a ditch. N:33 W:11639.559 Deposition of Sediments This is an example of sediment layers that were deposited on the mountain. N:33 W:11639.438 Evidence of Big Flood Events in the Past This rock was carried all the way down the river, almost to the shore by a big flood. Only large amounts of water have the capability to do this. N:33 W:11639.563 Another Interesting Geological Process This shows that mud washed over to shore and dried into clay in a thin layer on top of the dry sand. N:33 W:11639.555
