Helping• Most countries provide a variety of services to

assist homeless people. They often provide food, shelter and clothing. These programmes may be supported, organized and run by government, charities, religious organizations and individual donors.

• In Peru the government can help by passing new laws to help homeless people, creating prevention campaigns, informing the citizens, giving more employment opportunities, and a new better education about homeless people and how citizens can help them.

• We can help making donations, organizing events like fairs, raffles, ‘pollada’ and volunteering to build houses.

To help we have done a food collection in our school and sold cookies, brownies and lemonade around our neighborhood. We have made 100 soles and collected food that we will donate to the San Lucas Shelter.
