OTHON ASLANOGLOU

Mr. Aslanoglou was born in Thessaloniki. He has 21 years’ experience in multinational companies

in commercial roles. He started his professional career in Thessaloniki in 1993 at Henkel as a sales administrator and after 4 years he joined Sara Lee as a sales representative until 1999. Since 1999 and until 2008 he worked for Diageo in different roles and areas (Sales representative, Area Manager, Trade

Marketing Manager). In 2008 he changed industry and worked for GSK for the next 2 years. Since 2010 he holds the position of National Sales Manager at Novartis (Athens based). Through this position he led many therapeutic areas, launched new brands and developed new initiatives. In terms of academic background, since 1999 he holds an MBA degree.

He tries to organize his every day schedule in order to have free time to spend with his kids. Other hobbies are: travelling, running and watching football.

“I chose ΕΜΒΑ in order to cover my curiosity for up to date education in combination with a top Academic Institution. Moreover, I am looking forward to take knowledge, experience, and different point of view and put all of these elements in my everyday life.”

FOTIS BAKOGIANNIS

Mr. Bakogiannis was born in Athens. He joined Eurobank in 11/1997 and worked in Kolonaki branch in several positions. After 6 ½ years (4/2004) he moved to the island of Paros to start up our new branch as a Branch Manager.

In 2006 he started working as an Area Manager (Aegean Islands). Since 2010 he holds the position of Individual Banking Development Division Manager. He holds a M.A in Marketing and Management from Middlesex University. In his spare time he enjoys watching films and travelling worldwide.

“I chose EMBA, because I believe that it is the perfect time for a new challenge in my career that will widen my perspectives, develop my skills and provide me the opportunity to further use my expertise and my professional experience alongside a distinguished group of fellow students.”

IRO (ARGYRO) FERENTINOU

Ms Ferentinou was born in Athens, graduated from Lyceum in 1986 and started attending ATHENS

LAW SCHOOL the same year. She also entered the banking industry in the same year as a junior credit analyst in BANK OF CRETE. Due to change of business focus and health issues that arose, she didn’t complete the University Degree. Her banking career though kept on moving rapidly since the industry developed highly in the 1990’s. In 2002 she joined PIRAEUS BANK GROUP as a

Branch Manager and since 2011 she holds a senior position in Loan Administration, first as a Director and for the past 4 months as a Senior Director. Married and with a 13 year old daughter, in her spare time she enjoys listening to music, watching movies and sports like basketball, athletics and swimming, travelling and reading literature. While she was younger, she enjoyed writing modern poetry as well as fairytales for children.

“The reason I applied for the ALBA’s EMBA is that not only ALBA is a well- established and acknowledged educational institution, but also the specific program recognizes professional expertise and combines knowledge, innovative way of thinking and active participation while learning. Furthermore it is addressed to someone like me, a person who keeps on seeking for a new prospective in its business environment. All of the above made it actually look like a dream come true. "

EVA KEFALOYANNIS

Ms Kefaloyannis was born and grew up in Crete. She graduated from the American College of

Greece in 1997, with a degree in Management and Organizational Behavior. During the year of her graduation (1997), she joined Eurobank and worked in Phone Banking Department until 2003, when she had a job offer to join a collection’s agency, as an Operations Manager.She worked there until 2005. In 2006 and up until now, she joined Eurobank again, first, as a Division’s Head, responsible for

Managing early stage delinquent customers. Then, in 2009, as a Collections Head in Eurobank’s Subsidiary in Warsaw and, now, she holds the

position of the General Manager in Bank’s Subsidiary in Greece, specialized in collecting debts via large Call Center for Mortgage and Consumer Lending products, on behalf of the Bank.

Since 2012, she is learning Turkish, which she enjoys very much, she exercises a lot during the week and she is very fond of travelling. She likes gemology and spending time with her dear friends.

“I decided to enroll for EMBA, in order to obtain the adequate theoretical background, one should have, to pursue further career opportunities.”

MARY-ANN KONSTANTINIDI

Ms Konstantinidi was born in the US & raised in Athens. She graduated from the Pharmacy

School of the University of Athens in 1988. After working for 2 years in retail pharmacy, she joined the Pharmaceutical industry in 1990 as a medical representative in Wellcome. In 1993 Marianna moved to Pharmacia as a product specialist in the beginning and then as a product manager for Ophthalmology for 10 years. During this period Pharmacia was acquired

by Pfizer and she continued working as Marketing Leader for Ophthalmogy & Endocrinology. Since 2009 she has the position of Commercial Lead (Sales & Marketing Manager) for various therapy areas and in 2013 she also took over the responsibility of Malta as Malta Head for all Pfizer products.

She enjoys cooking, reading literature and spending time with her family.

“I decided to join the EMBA for the opportunity to gain a more comprehensive view of all aspects of the business in one of the best Business Schools in Greece. I am looking forward to the experience and to meeting my fellow students and professors.”

MATINA KRESTA

Ms Kresta was Born in Nea Styra, in the island of Evia, She graduated from the Athens Law School in 1999 with a Law Degree. In 2001 she became an Advocate Member of the Athens Bar Association and she joined BP Hellas SA, a petroleum company, where she worked in the legal department for eight years, while at the same time she attended a Program of Postgraduate Studies in Civil Law in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 2004

she attended ALBA obtaining a MSc in Business Studies for Law Practitioners. In 2008 she was recruited by VIVARTIA in the dairy product division (DELTA) to set up and

organize the legal department. Since 2010 she holds the position of the Head of the LEGAL Department of DELTA FOODS SA.

"I saw the ΕΜΒΑ as an avenue to better understanding business operations and in order to get a seat at the table in both business and strategy decisions. I will pursue the EMBA to open up new opportunities, to push my career along and to obtain high level education and interaction with other successful peers".

KATERINA LYGEROU

Ms Lygerou was born in Athens and she started working at the Bank of Crete, at the Imports-

Exports Department. Five years later, she joined the newly founded Interbank, at first as a supervisor of the Imports-Exports department of the central branch and then as the platform manager of the same branch. Four years later, she undertook responsibility of the Galatsi Branch (Branch Manager). The following years she worked as a Branch Manager in several

branches of Eurobank (in the meantime Interbank merged with Eurobank). In 2004 she joined central operations, as Manager of the Centralized Services Division. Since 2010 she holds the position of Head of Group Operations Transaction Banking & Centralized Services Sector and aspires to establish Eurobank’s Operations as the best practice in Greek banking operations –and not only-.

Ms Lygerou is married with two children and she enjoys cooking, decorating, drawing, crafting and travelling. "I chose ΕΜΒΑ in order to learn more, maximize my potential and unfold new opportunities for my career through a strategic perspective”.

PANAGIOTIS MAVRAGANIS

Mr. Mavraganis currently works for Forthnet S.A., as Commercial Director - Consumer Services. He has ten years of work experience in telecoms. Previously he has been working in various positions within the IT sector for another 6 years.

He graduated from the American College of Greece, holding a BSc in Business Administration, and he obtained an MSc in Information Management from Lancaster University in 1997. He is the father of a three year-old daughter and in his spare time, apart from enjoying time with his family, he enjoys reading literature and history.

"I chose ALBA ΕΜΒΑ in order to sharpen my understanding of leadership and strategic thinking in the modern business world under the guidance of top-level academic faculty. Moreover, I value highly the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with senior colleagues from different industries."

NIKOS MINTZIAS

Mr. Mintzias was born in Athens and he graduated from TEI of Piraeus with a Bsc as a Textile-

Mechanical Engineer in 1992. After this, he joined ABBATIS-LIOKIS SA, acting as an agent for dyestuffs for the textile industry and worked as a sales representative for five years. In 1997 he started working at his present company, International Paint Hellas SA – Marine coatings, at first as Sales Executive and then as Key Account Manager for major Greek shipping companies.

During the period 2000-2001 he attended an MBA by EEDE for Business Administration. On 2007 he became NB Manager, handling the NB business of Greek shipping companies in Korea and China. Since June 2013 he holds the position of Marine General Manager of IP Hellas SA and his aspiration is to lead the company to be the first Marine paint manufacturer in the Greek shipping market.

In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, sports and reading.

"I chose ΕΜΒΑ for the opportunity to learn from world-class faculty alongside a distinguished cohort of fellow students. Moreover, I am looking forward to see what I have been learning being put into action."

ALEXANDRA NTINOPOULOU

Ms Ntinopoulou was born in Karlstad of Sweden. She started to work just after graduating high school, but her carrier path crystallized when she joined Ydroghios Insurance Company in 1998, in the reinsurance department. Afterwards she had short term assignments in London, working for a reinsurance broker for 2 semesters within two years. After this, in 2001 she joined General Hellas as

a reinsurance specialist and since 2007 she is the Reinsurance Manager of Interamerican Group.

In her spare time, she likes to travel and see new places and cultures.

"Until now my career was based and developed by work experience. Participating in ΕΜΒΑ, which is offered by a top Business School, is a challenge I am looking forward to live and fulfill in order to meet my future targets".

KONSTANTINOS PANTAZIS

Mr. Pantazis was born in Athens. He graduated from the National Technical University of Athens in

1996 with a MEng Degree in Chemical Engineering. In 1998 he successfully completed a one-year MSc course at Imperial College London, in Environmental Engineering. He then worked for a year as researcher at NTUA Civil Engineering Division. In 1999 he joined Hellenic Petroleum (Petrola Hellas at the time) where he started his career as

Process / Operations Εngineer. Since 2012, he holds the position of Process Units Operations Manager at Elefsina Oil Refinery having previously served at various strategic positions within the HELPE organization. Top achievement was in 2012, the successful Management of the Commissioning and Startup of Upgraded Elefsina Refinery (1.4 billion € Project)

In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, playing tennis and watching sports.

“I chose ΕΜΒΑ for the opportunity to learn from an organization that leads the domestic Business Administration training. I am looking forward to empower my Leadership and Management skills. I can’t wait to start implementing in the real world what the EMBA will teach me.”

ALEXANDROS PARAGYIOS

Mr. Paragyios is the Assistant General Manager at Eurobank, holding the position of Deputy Group CIO, Head of Group IT Applications Sector and is currently managing over 200 technologists. His responsibilities span through seven countries (incl. Greece) where the Bank has presence. He joined Eurobank in 2001, as the Manager responsible for the creation of Customer

Relationship Management technological landscape of the Bank. Since then, Alexandros held various senior management positions in IT. Prior to that, Alexandros worked for Deloitte Consulting

(Athens) as a senior consultant in IT field of Telecommunications Industry for about five years and before that he was working for nearly four years as a Research Assistant in Artificial Intelligence & Decision Support Systems Lab of Athens University of

Economics and Business (AUEB). Alexandros has an IT background from the AUEB Dept. of Informatics. He was born in Chios in 1969. In his spare time, Alexandros enjoys traveling, watching theatre and listening to music.

"I chose EMBA for the challenge of deep knowledge and innovative ideas cross-fertilization, born from both world class faculty and distinguished fellow students. Thinking out-of-the-box is stimulating to action".

MICHAIL PSYCHARAKIS

Mr. Psycharakis was born and raised in Athens. He graduated in 2006 from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. After this degree he returned to Athens and joined the family business and got involved in various construction projects in numerous locations along Greece. After a year Michail left the country in pursue of employment in a

more developed and better organized construction market. He started working in London, UK and ended up staying there for three truly exciting years as an Assembly Manager for Skanska UK Plc one of the largest construction companies worldwide. During his last year in the UK he earned his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering Structures (Advanced Structural Analysis) in

City University London. After that experience, Michail returned to Greece and joined once again the family business for good. He has been working since then as a Project Manager in various projects of different fields, both in the public and the private sector, while trying to improve on a daily basis the level of quality, service and safety of the company. His main goal is to establish their company as

one of the leaders on the Greek construction market as well as expand their activities abroad. In his spare time Michail enjoys playing tennis as well as taking pictures, since he has a great passion for photography. “I believe that the EMBA is the vehicle needed to take my business forward and achieve the goals that our company has set. It is of great interest to me to see the effects of the implementation of all the knowledge gained through the course of this program and see my dreams for our company become a reality.”

SOTIRIOS TSOPELAS

Mr. Tsopelas was born in Venezuela from Greek Parents, where he concluded his High

School Studies in a Catholic School called Don Bosco. He graduated with a Bachelor

of Engineering (Civil Engineering) at Oxford Brookes University. Given the Political

Disturbance in Venezuela, he decided to explore his luck in the old country, Greece

(his second home at that time). Before finishing his studies, he had already invested

into a Video Club Chain called Video Seven, which he directed as soon as he

concluded his studies; he eventually sold it in 2004. After that, he worked in different

sectors, from High End Security, System Integration and Textiles, until the last Business Venture which started in 2010 and

continues up to now, which is a multi-store international operation of Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt brand .

He enjoys Tactical and Practical Shooting, is part of the Federation and participates in local and international

Championships. He plays some tennis, he is a motor boating enthusiast and a Cigar Aficionado.

“The target is to go in deep into particular subjects such as Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources,

Micro and Macro Economics etc. Being an entrepreneur and a manager has given me the opportunity to acquire practical

knowledge at the previous subject, however, I strongly believe that taking part in the EMBA Program will help me reach a

higher level of professionalism and leadership.”

MICHALIS VIRIDIS

Mr. Viridis holds a Bachelor in Shipping & Transport from Business College of Athens (BCA). Before Maersk, he worked 2 years (1998-2000) for Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) as export customer service.He joined Maersk in 2000 as a Maersk International Shipping Education (MISE) trainee and held various commercial positions including a 2-year expatriation in Maersk

UK in London. In 2008 he became Customer Service Manager for Greece Cluster, while 2 years later took over the newly established Trade & Marketing department and in 2011 became Sales, Trade & Marketing manager for Greece cluster. Since January 2013, Michalis is the Managing Director of Maersk Hellas, responsible for the activities of Maersk Line in Greece, Cyprus &

F.Y.R.O.M. Michalis likes to travel with his girlfriend during weekends. A comics collector and a big fan of ‘50s-’60s American sci-fi & monster (B) movies. Also, a board member of Football Club “Proodeftiki”.

“I chose ALBA ΕΜΒΑ for the opportunity to challenge myself through a demanding academic program and an interaction with the faculty and my peers. Ultimate goal to develop further as an executive, making a difference for my company.”
