Think creatively, act independently, communicate effectively. Rise to the challenge: Choose liberal arts! A Heidelberg education is rooted in the liberal arts tradition, highly sought after by today’s employers.

Founded in 1850, we’ve devoted ourselves to helping students achieve lives of purpose with distinction for over 160 years. In that time, we’ve grown from five students in our first graduating class, to more than 1600 students today. With 28 undergraduate majors, and four master’s degrees, we offer a variety of opportunities to help you discover your purpose. Choose liberal arts and begin building a foundation for your career and life path.

At Heidelberg, we learn and work together. Our faculty are more than just teachers, they’re mentors. As part of our Faculty-Student Mentoring Program, they work with you to support your goals, challenge you to try new experiences, and teach you to succeed at doing what you love. You’ll meet your faculty mentor at orientation. Together, you’ll create a personal educational plan specifically designed to help you achieve a future with distinction. Mentoring isn’t limited to registration or course selection, your mentor also helps with career and personal decisions.
