The Max-Pak Difference

BUILT TOUGHWe don’t built a light weight machine.Max-Pak balers will outlast other balers

because we use tubular steel forstructural integrity, and heavy gaugeabrasion resistant steel for high stress

areas like the packing platen, floor andside walls. The base frame of a Max-

Pak baler has never been bent ordistorted. Never. There are solid

reasons Max-Pak balers stay on thejob, year after year. It’s how we build

them and what our customers expect.

QUALITY COMPONENTSMax-Pak reliability is built into each machine, with qualitycomponents we’ve tested and learned to trust for years ofdependable service. Electrical and hydraulic systems aredesigned for longevity, like UL Listed control panels andTEFC Motors. Hydraulic system components like pumpsand cylinders are engineered to withstand much higherpressures than you’ll actually use on the job. Over-engineered? Perhaps. But a hydraulic system that can standup to 5,000 psi pressures while actually running at peakdemand of 3,000 psi will run cooler. And cooler hydraulicsystems perform better and last longer. At Max-Pak,reliability doesn’t just happen. It’s carefully planned.

ABOVE AND BEYONDMax-Pak service and support is even stronger than the

machines we build. We take personal pride in every balerwe sell and every customer we serve. It’s comes from oursmall-town culture, a big part of who we are. That’s why

we install Max-Pak balers ourselves, using Max-Pakfactory-trained technicians. The same team that deliversyour baler will install it, run extensive tests to make sure

everything is up to our standards, and then train youroperators before we leave.

But when we walk out the door, it doesn’t mean you’realone. Max-Pak technical support is available 24/7 on our

toll-free hotline. Over 300 qualified service centers arestanding by in the unlikely event you ever have a problemwith your Max-Pak baler. Replacement parts are available

direct from our factory, and trained technicians can bedispatched quickly to your location if the need arises. Call

it peace of mind. It comes with every Max-Pak baler.

Since 1976, Max-Pak has been making quality balersand compactors for the waste industry. It wassomething we HAD to do. You see, we’re also in thewaste paper recycling business, and 30 years ago wecouldn’t find a baler that performed the way weneeded. So we built our own.

Being in the waste business has its advantages whenyou’re designing a baler. Not only do we understandthe challenges and demands expected from a baler, weget to test and fine tune our ideas in a real workingenvironment – our own.

For our other baler customers, it means they get thebenefit of our front-line experience and ourdetermination to only build the best. A Max-Pak baler isnot good enough for our customers unless it’s goodenough for us.

At Max-Pak we take a personal interest in every machinewe sell, and every customer we serve. It comes from oursmall town heritage. It’s who we are. So it also makessense that we deliver and install every baler ourselves, and then train your operators before we leave. We wantyou to be a friend and a Max-Pak customer for a longtime. That’s part of our small town, small companymentality.

But make no mistake. Max-Pak is no lightweight when itcomes to balers. You’ll find our equipment in some ofthe most demanding industries, with some of the mostparticular companies.

Our customers have come to know and trust Max-Pakfor productivity, reliability, and integrity. So it’s nosurprise that over 90% of all Max-Pak balers ever builtare still on the job. And we plan to keep it that way.

Why Settle For Less?

Page 2: Why Settle For Less? The Max-Pak Difference · The Max-Pak Difference BUILT TOUGH We don’t built a light weight machine. Max-Pak balers will outlast other balers because we use

The Max-Pak Two-Ram Baler is your choice for maximum throughput andproductivity. The Two-Ram is capable of processing P.E.T. bottles atthe rate of 6,750 lbs. and 9 bales per hour, with bale weights up to 1,000 pounds. The Two-Ram’s three-wall chamber and extended ram penetration will deliver dense bales withmaximum integrity. The auto-tie option will automatically secure your bales with as many as 13straps per bale. It means you’ll use less labor to produce plastic bales faster – bales that stack andtransport easily, driving down the cost of handling and delivery, while driving up your profits.

The HorizontalClosed End Full Eject Baler can

generate 5 bales per hour of P.E.T. bottles, processing up to 3,750 lbs. The closed door creates a three-

wall baling chamber, allowing extended penetration to within 6 inches of the packing wall todefeat the “memory” characteristics of plastics. All Max-Pak horizontal balers feature wide-mouthfeed openings to prevent bridging of materials and baler jamming, which keeps your productivity

moving and profit margin growing. The Full Eject is available in three productive configurations.

The largest of the Max-Pak Vertical Downstroke Balers, the MP60NFS is ideal for situations that require a smaller equipmentfootprint, but still demand high productivity from a baler. The NFS uses a powerful 10-inchcylinder operating at a maximum 3,000 psi to generate over 235,000 lbs. of packing force. Thepacking ram of the NFS achieves over 50% bale penetration in a totally enclosed packingchamber, producing bales that maintain their integrity through temperature changes andtransportation. Greater total thrust and higher system pressures put Max-Pak at the head of theclass when it comes to plastics recycling.

Call
