MAIN STAGE PROGRAM
Summer Stock Stage is a community theater program for highly-engaged students in central Indiana. Each summer, students from 40+ schools come together in high-quality musical theater productions, with full orchestra, on the campus of Park Tudor School in Indianapolis. Auditions are held in the spring and are open to students who have finished 7th grade to those who have just graduated high school. Rehearsals are held in the evenings and on weekends. There is a small supplies fee, but full scholarships are available. Summer Stock Stage is committed to an inclusive casting policy. Students of all ethnicities are encouraged to audition for all roles. Internships are available for college students considering a career in the arts.
ACADEMY
Summer Stock Stage Academy is a three-week summer camp for students entering grades 2-8. Academy students learn about the broader world of musical theater and for the first two weeks meet daily with the artistic staff to learn music and choreography. The third week is “tech week” and Academy members join main stage cast members in the spotlight performing small roles in the musical theater productions. Performances are weekday evenings and weekend afternoon and evenings.
Performances, Rehearsals, and Academy take place at:
