• Adam and Eve were to bear children and fill the earth

• Had they not sinned they would have had children forever, they would have never grown old and their children would have children forever. This was the original plan.

Part of the curse of sin is aging, leading to ultimate death

Our resurrection will take place at the rapture whether we have died or we are

• Adam and Eve would have received immortality by the Tree of Life

• God protected the Tree of Life lest Adam and Eve should live forever in immortal sinful bodies

• The Tree of Life disappeared from the earth. It isn’t seen again until the New Jerusalem comes down to the New earth.

• We who have been resurrected or changed/translated will rule with Christ over the nations as kings and priests forever.

• The souls in the lake of fire won’t even register on the scale compared to the eternal propagation of the righteous
