WHY CARRY THE R&R BEADBREAKER?We at Safari 4x4 have been traveling Australia for over 20 years with our fair share of problems. Certainly at shows and field days demonstrating tyre repair equipment every body has to tell us how where and when they had their tyre problems. So I have herd a few stories with all this in mind we are sure our kit contains a quality range of products to cover all repairable injuries.
Caring two spare tyres mounted on rims and ready to go means you have two chances this doesn’t sound so good when your out the back of Bourke its not uncommon to have two flats at the same time, So fit your spares then what? Panic? Get out the map and sat phone and find which direction you are more likely to get HELP from and hope you get there without further problems.
However, as you are driving at any time good or bad surface a tyre problem may occur. Having the ability two repair a tyre on the roadside will give you many more chances of continuing on in the direction you want Lets say we only get 2 fixes out of each tyre with our standard 5 tyres that 10 flats before we have a problem add just an extra tyre not rim and you have another couple of chances and your not caring the extra weight (or expense) of a second rim/wheel carrier etc.
Hint: A great spot for your second casing is strapped to your existing spare on the back door or wheel carrier.

R&R BEADBREAKER?Most people have spent thousands on recovery gear but seam to forget about tyre repairs. (Until it’s too late) When in fact we can generally pick the area where we might be unpacking the recovery kit. We never know where a tyre problem may occur any surface, any time.
Purchasing your tyre repair equipment should be similar to your first aid kit you don’t want a packet of band-aids you want a good quality kit containing high quality products that will work at your time of need.
CHANGING TYRES IS HARD WORK ISN’T IT?Thanks to Wolfgang Bousler a 75 year old German engineer who in 1993 invented a manual operated tyre machine which unlike its predecessors not only Breaks the bead (seal) But more importantly refit’s the tyre back on to the rim with out resorting to the traditional form of a rubber mallet and brut force potentially damaging the bead of the tyre which would cause real problems when tying to re seal the tyre to the rim. (Pump it up).
Both operations require absolute minimum effort from the operator and are best done on a tailgate or camp table so as to allow the operator to keep there back straight, giving much more control over the whole operation whilst keeping foreign matter (mud and crap) out of the way.

TRK1 H/D Plug Kit
BBHD - Heavy Duty R&R Beadbreaker & Tyre Refitting Tool pushes an extra 10mm in depth and has a 50% stronger foot than a standard BB and will except the Super Foot. Best used on late model (shallow) alloys, split and ATV rims. Removes beads 8” to 17.5” and refits
beads 13” to 17.5”.
SF - Super Foot only to be used on the BBHD primarily to push further in on the tyre bead
before pushing down. For rims with extra deep safeties such as alloy Rover rims & ATVs.
It also increases the depth of push for extra stubborn tyres.
AZO - Zero offset alloy rim rod adaptor.
LD Pack - Alloy rim rover adaptor kit for BBHD. Includes specific pictorial instructions.
