Types of Scholarships Available:

• Full or partial scholarships: Depending on the extent of the scholarship, what the money covers may vary. A scholarship can pay for classes, books, room and board, and much more.

• Merit-based scholarships: A merit-based scholarship is mainly based on your skills. An example of a merit-based scholarship would be an athletic scholarship or an academic scholarship.

THINGS TO DO IN COLLEGEThere are many different fun things to do in college. A few examples are:

• Join a Sorority/Fraternity. A sorority is a society for female students and a fraternity is a society for male students in a university or college, typically for social purposes.

• Playing intramural sports in college can be very fun, but also very competitive. Intramural sports are played just for fun, you do not get a scholarship, and anyone can play! They don’t take up your time that you can use for studying and you really get involved with the other students at the college. Meeting new people is always fun.

• Playing college sports is a whole different story than intramural sports. College sports are not easy and take up a lot of time. You have to have time management skills in order to play sports, make good grades, and travel very far away. You meet many different people from all over the world and bond as a team everyday. You definitely make friends that will last a lifetime.
