We're almost there Wicks Winners,
Can you believe it’s already June? Where has this yeargone? If you’re anything like me, you’re so excited and alittle overwhelmed by the fact that the end of the year ishere. This month I’m going to focus on staying focused. June is the perfect month to perfect your 6 most importantthings list. Each night before you go to bed, plan out yourday from most to least important. Limit it to just 6 things soyou don’t get overwhelmed, but also make sure you take thetime to both make your list and sort it. That way when youwake up you know where to begin. If you only get the firsttwo or three things done on your list, then the rest should goonto tomorrow’s list. It’s simple, highly effective, and keepsour eye on the prize.
Speaking of prizes, are you ready to pick up your new redjacket at Seminar? I hope you’re joining us this year. It’sgoing to be one for the record books. The company is doingso many amazing things, I just can’t wait. The best way totruly enjoy your Seminar experience is to get busybeforehand. The more business you have on the books andprospects you have to call, the better the results will be whenyou get home. Plus, those classes lead to quality teammembers which means you’ll Paint The Town Red and earnyour very own redesigned red jacket.
All of our new products are flying off the shelves for me, and Ihope you feel the same way. Our new color products are sofun for summer, and they’re the perfect amount of sheer witha pop of color. To me, summer is all about great skin care. Iwant my skin to look flawless for those days I head outdoorsand don’t really want to mess with makeup. I hope you areboth sold on our skin care and focusing on it at your classes. Not only will your skin care customers be your bestcustomers, but they’ll also be your biggest advocates. If youaren’t personally using anything but our skin care, take thatplunge today. It’s so much easier to sell things that you arepersonally sold on. So jump in. Skin care, supplements, anyskin support you are interested in, invest in your own today. Let’s end this seminar year with a bang and be prepared tomake 2016 the most amazing year we can imagine. It allbegins by starting today, so get up, get out and Paint TheTown Red! I know you can achieve anything your heartdesires!
Love and Belief, Linda

Every consultant in Mary Kay Land is asking that question right now. I remember so vividly, 20 years ago, when my Director, Stacy James, told me to plan on going to Seminar. a.. I had just quit my job to pursue MK full time. b.. I was a brand new single mom. c.. I had full responsibility for house payment and all expenses, including child care. d.. I was emotionally devastated from the breakup of my marriage. e. I had no savings AND I had just submitted for DIQ (which meant that I would need to take an additional trip to Dallas the month following Seminar...we went before DIQ in the former system). Now, honestly, what would you be thinking? I had only been with the company around 6 months at this point.....wouldn't you question the soundness of that decision? Besides, I had been to soooo many conferences and seminars in my educational background and, quite frankly, I didn't care for them. Did I intend for Mary Kay to be my life's work? I wanted it to be. Yes! Was I nervous? Oh yes!!!! Did I go? YES! Think about this for a minute.....your future lies in your thought process surrounding this......Your future will always be in the yes's of this business, never in the no's. You are probably waiting to hear how much stronger I felt once the decision was made. I didn't. In fact, I cried most of the way down to Seminar, hiding my tears from my team members. I was in a very fragile state emotionally, yet I knew those two little girls were counting on me to find the strength, courage, and way to go forward with our life. The thoughts would keep creeping into my mind about the bills to be paid less than 4 days upon my return....house payment, tuition payment....food! My faith wasn't even that strong at that time of my business. We had a yard sale to raise part of the money for my two trips. It was our dream. It was our future. I share this because it is so easy to look at me and look at the other Directors and assume......assume that the road was easier than yours.....assume that they couldn't possibly know what you are going through and how it feels to leave your children, to raise the money when you are soooo in debt....to leave home in the middle of one of life's difficult passages.......... are you with me? Why in the world would I want to dedicate an entire morning's motto to this one question?
Because,........ when you decide to make a way....find a way.....and join us at Seminar.....You will look at me with your eyes wide with amazement and voice inaudibly the words....."Thank you," and we will both know what you mean! You will be thankful because......... 1. You will have a new vision for what YOU will be
able to do with your business. 2. You will no longer question whether or not this
business is for you. 3. You will learn how to save time and manage time
better. 4. Your energy level will increase dramatically for
your goals. 5. Your income will double, if not quadruple with the
training you receive. 6. Your thinking will transcend from the "maybes" to
the "will." 7. You will meet women who will inspire you to new
heights of thinking and acting. 8. You will learn about your products and gain a new-
found confidence in sharing them. 9. You will make very special friendships with women
who will share the career path with you, AND you will have more fun than you can possibly imagine!
If your current boss told you that a business seminar would take place this summer and you would be expected to go....you would simply make the arrangements. This is exactly what I want you to do with Seminar. Please don't question what will be the most life-changing few days in your career. Make the arrangements. The only acceptable reasons for not attending are death and dilation. :-)
Your future is much too important to ignore this. I want you there with me. Remember: Successful people are “find a way, make a way" women. They have complications, they have stresses, yet they base their decisions on the future and what it holds, not the present obstacles.
I can't wait to tell your story, full of obstacles, that will inspire the masses next year at this time....and it will all boil down to the fact that you simply made the arrangements and went to Seminar. Sending encouragement and faith your way!!!!!

Words of Wisdom by Mary Kay Ash
Real champions are ones who
vigorously act on their
dreams and work, really work,
toward their goals. Thomas
Edison said, ‘Genius is 2
percent inspiration and 98
percent perspiration.’ to a
winner, work is never
drudgery. Your enthusiasm
will propel you forward.
RULES FOR ZOOMING IN YOUR MARY KAY CAREER! 1. Be wary of negative people. Cease to talk about your Mary Kay career with people who are always dumping on you. They could
be your best friend, relative, another Consultant, husband, or your boss at work. Talk about other things. It’s amazing how these people want to tell you about your Mary Kay and yet they probably are in the 97% who made less than $30,000 last year.
2. Always remember fast is best. Work the numbers. It’s OK to be crazy for a while in this business. You don’t feel as many bumps on the way up!
3. Learn to work with clear-cut deadlines. Whenever I see a Consultant who is not where she wants to be, I know she has not learned to be a deadline person. Be careful you don’t sell out your dreams just because it gets tough!
4. Be realistic. How hard are you willing to work? 5. Make a commitment. Eliminate all other options. 6. Loosen up. Are you having fun? Ask yourself, “If I’m not having fun, how can I attract other people to this?” 7. Remember – if you don’t do it, someone else will . . and is . . . and . . . someone needs to see you do it first so it will be
believable to them. 8. Remember, you are not only special, you are gifted. Gifted is from God, and you must share that gift. Give it away. Don’t forget
the parable of the talents: that which we don’t use is taken away. 9. Find a person who has crystal-clear understanding of where you are and is willing to help you. This person may change
throughout your career. He/she is not easily found. But you must find this one person. This is not someone to whine to, but rather a person who believes in you, loves you in spite of your faults, and encourages you every step of the way. Your part is to trust this individual, believe him/her, and go back to work!
10. Know your purpose in life, remembering we should always reach people for good and for God. Ask His guidance in all that you do. Don’t get stressed out. Let go and let God take charge. Pray like everything depends upon Him and work like everything depends upon you!
